below is a breakdown of the costs associated with building a budget friendly 3 bedroom ranch featuring 1400 square feet, two bathrooms, vinyl plank flooring, granite countertops, GE appliances, FHA efficient furnace and build standards, harvey windows and doors, and a full basement.

Well: $12,000 (400’ depth 40’ casing)   

septic: $9500.00 (stone bed basic system)

excavation/foundation/driveway: 50,000

electrical: $0.00 (within 150’ of existing pole)

frame package: $50,000 ( frame/siding/roofing/windows/doors) 

frame/siding/roofing labor including exterior finish: $75,000

electrical rough in and finish: $20,000

plumbing & hvac rough in and finish including fixtures: $25,000

insulation material and labor: $8000.00

sheetrock material and labor: $15,000

interior finish (trim/paint/doors) $20,000

flooring materials and labor: $10,000

kitchen w/ island /granite & appliances: $20,000 

loam & seed: $7500.00

231.42 per square foot on this turn key build excluding land. this is for an average spec. if your looking for tile, heated floors, high end fixtures and features, these costs can easily exceed 300.00-400.00 per square foot, and even more for custom homes.
